STOCKYARD CREEK is an exclusive bush campsite peacefully situated on Stockyard Creek & has access to the Albert River
PERFECT FOR GROUPS, SMALL CHILDREN AND HAS THE MOST PRIVACY
Stockyard Creek Campsite is situated on the babbling Stockyard Creek and there is a short walk to the larger Albert River.
This peaceful spot features Silky Oaks and Ironwood trees, views to Luke's Bluff and Ding Bing falls in Lamington National Park, has plenty of shade for tents and a huge space for caravans and camper trailers to turn around in.

Ideal for nature play with small children in the shallow creek or cool down in the in the Albert River.

Don't forget the marshmallows to roast on the fire at night.

Binoculars and boots are a must for bird watching and exploring our walking tracks through the forest.

Facilities include a firepit, picnic table and basic toilet facilities (a portaloo). BYO drinking water.

KINGFISHER is an exclusive bush campsite on the Albert River, has a magnificent waterhole (with Azure Kingfishers) & fishing
PERFECT FOR GROUPS, FISHING, WATER PLAY, BIRD WATCHING AND THOSE NEEDING A WIDE OPEN CAMPING AREA
The "Longreach" waterhole is the star at Kingfisher Campsite. The campsite features a large open space with views to Gorman's Rock and Mt Alexander. Campers have a choice of a short track direct to the Albert River or a 450m jaunt to the "Longreach" waterhole.

Great for those who love fresh water fishing. Bass is a favourite catch and release fish or target the pesky Carp.

Bring your togs and floaties to cool down in the "Longreach" waterhole

Plenty of space to kick around a football or practice your golf.

Easy access off Kerry Road.

Facilities include a firepit and basic toilet facilities (a portaloo). BYO drinking water. We do recommend that campers bring marquees for shade in summer. It is shady while you are visiting the river. The large open spaced campsite however, means that there is a shortage of shade at the actual campsite (we will be planting trees).

PLATYPUS is an exclusive bush campsite on the Albert River, has large waterholes (with wild platypus) & fishing
PERFECT FOR GROUPS, WATER PLAY, FISHING AND BIRD WATCHING
Platypus features a few long waterholes connected by beautiful Bottle Brush shaded rapids. You are able to wander the long stretch of river frontage while fishing.
This pretty spot features a river full of Sheoaks and Bottle Brush, views to Mt Pleasant and Mt Alexander, has easy access off the main Kerry Road and plenty of room to spread out.

It is shady while you are visiting the river. We have a shady pecan tree on the campsite but we that at the height of summer a little extra shade is needed to cater for a group.

Maximum capacity for Platypus is 20 people (including children).
Exclusivity is a feature of our campsites and for that reason we only take a flat rate booking.
Once you have booked no one else will be able to camp at your site, it is all yours.

Current Rate: $249 / night flat rate exclusive camping for you or your group up to 20 people (that's $12.45 per person if you have a maximum size group).*
Rate from 1st January 2026: $279 /night flat rate exclusive camping for you or your group up to 20 people (that's $13.95 per person if you have a maximum size group).*
Weekly bookings (7 days) attract a 15% discount.*
All bookings include a free bag of kindling and firewood is available for sale.
