STOCKYARD CREEK is an exclusive bush campsite with access to Stockyard Creek and the Albert River
​PERFECT FOR GROUPS
Invite your family group, catch up with friends and or use it as a base camp for hiking adventures in the Lamington National Park.

Stockyard Creek Campsite is situated on the babbling Stockyard Creek and there is a short walk to the larger Albert River waterhole.
​
This pretty spot features Silky Oaks and Ironwood trees, views to Luke's Bluff and Ding Bing falls in Lamington National Park, has plenty of shade for tents and a huge space for caravans and camper trailers to turn around in.

Ideal for nature play with small children in the shallow creek or bring your togs and floaties to cool down in the waterhole on the Albert River.

Don't forget the marshmallows to roast on the fire at night.

Binoculars and boots are a must for bird watching and exploring our walking tracks through the forest.

Facilities include a firepit, picnic table, sink and basic toilet facilities (a portaloo).
PLATYPUS is an exclusive bush campsite on the Albert River, has large waterholes (with wild platypus) and fishing

The waterholes on the Albert River at Platypus Campsite are larger than the Stockyard Creek site and you are able to wander the 2km of river frontage while fishing.
This pretty spot features Sheoaks and Bottle Brush, views to Mt Pleasant and Mt Alexander, has easy access off the main Kerry Road and plenty of room to spread out.

Bring your togs and floaties to cool down in the waterhole on the Albert River.

Great for those who love fresh water fishing. Bass is a favourite catch and release or target the pesky Carp.

Exclusivity is a feature of our campsites and for that reason we only take a flat rate booking.
Once you have booked no one else will be able to camp at your site, it is all yours.

$249 / night flat rate exclusive camping for you or your group up to 20 people (that's $12.45 per person if you have a maximum size group).
​
$1394 / week - weekly bookings (7 days) attract a 20% discount (that's under $10 per person per night for a maximum size group).
​
All bookings include a free bag of firewood.
